Rava Laddu


Ingredients
Fine Rava/Sooji - 2 cups
Unsalted Butter - ½ stick
Shredded Dry Coconut - 1 ½ cups
Sugar - 2 cups or 1 ½ cups if you want it less sweet
Evaporated Milk - 1 5oz can
Cardamom Powder - ½ tsp
Saffron - 1 pinch, powdered (optional)
Edible Camphor - 1 pinch, powdered (optional)
Raisins – ¼ cup, roasted in a little butter
Cashew/Almond/Pistachio - ¼ cup, coarsely chopped and roasted in a little butter

Method
Melt Butter in a non-stick pan on medium heat.
Add Rava/Sooji and fry until you get the nice roasted Rava aroma.
Add Shredded Coconut and Sugar and mix well on low heat for few seconds.
Add Raisins, Nuts, Saffron, Cardamom Powder, and Edible Camphor – Mix well.
Add Evaporated Milk and turn off the stove. Keep mixing for few minutes until the Evaporated Milk is well incorporated.
Remove pan from stove.
Dip your hands in cold water, take small amount of the mixture (golf ball size) and roll it into balls.
Makes approx. 35 to 40 ladoos depending on the size you make.

Paneer Laddu


Ingredients
1/2 cup condensed milk
250 gms. paneer (cottage cheese)
2-3 drops kewra essence
1/4 tsp. yellow colou

Method
Mash paneer.
Add condensed milk and cook on slow flame, stirring continously.
Cook till thick and sides leave.
Add essence and remove from flame.
Mix well. Pour on plate. Cool. Make ladoos.
Sprinkle powdered elaichi and decorate.

Coconut Laddu


Ingredients
1 can condensed milk
2 cups of dessicated coconut
1 tablespoon suga

Method

Mix the condensed milk and the coconut in a bowl.
Add the sugar and stir on a low flame for about 4 minutes.
Set aside till the mixture has slightly cooled down.
Shape into laddoos(small round balls).
Roll each laddoo in a little dessicated coconut. Store in airtight.

Moti Choor Laddu


Ingredients :
2 cups besan
1 & 1/2 cup sugar
10 pods cardamom
1/2 cup raisins
Ghee or oil for deep frying

Method
Mix besan with 1 &1/2 cup water to make a smooth batter free from lumps.
Powder cardamom and keep aside.
Fry raisins in a little ghee and keep ready.
Make sugar syrup with sugar and 1 cup of water.
Keep the syrup till its consistency reaches a long string stage.
Hold a perforated ladle over oil.
Pour some prepared besan batter on the ladle and the drops will fall through the holes of the ladle on to the hot oil.
Cook on low flame, stirring continuously.
Continue till the batter is cooked.
Now mix boondi, sugar syrup cardamom powder, raisins and stir well.
When the mixture is cool, shape into laddus of desired size.

Besan Laddu


Ingredients:
500 gm besan, sifted
500 gm ground sugar
200 gm ghee
1 tsp green cardamom or elaichi , powdered

Method
Heat the ghee until it smokes, then lower the heat.
Add the besan and fry on a medium heat until it is a golden colour.
Take it off the fire for two or three minutes and add the sugar.
When it is cooled to a comfortable temperature, grease your palms with ghee and form the mixture into balls.
Set aside to cool and harden. Store in air-tight containers.

Wheat Laddu


Ingredients
1 cup Wheat Flour
1/4 cup Gram Flour
11/2 cup Sugar Powder
1/4 cup Grated Coconut
1/4 cup Dry Fruit almonds, raisins, kaju etc
1 cup Ghee

Method

Heat the ghee.
Put both the flours in the heated ghee.
When nearly roasted put coconut and sliced dry fruit in the mixture.
Now put the ground sugar in the mixture and stir thoroughly.
Take off from the heat quickly and make laddus. You may also put the mixture in an oil based thali & make small pieces.

Jello Milkshake


Ingredients
1 cup milk
1 pkg. (4-serving size) Jello, any flavor
1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened
Method
* Place milk and ice cream in blender.
* Add Jello.
* Blend 30 seconds.

Old Fashioned Chocolate Milkshake


Ingredients
1 cup chocolate or vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup whole milk
3 - 4 tablespoons chocolate syrup
Method
* Put all the ingredients in the canister of a blender.
* Blend until smooth.

Purple Cow Milkshake


Ingredients
1/3 cup frozen grape juice concentrate, thawed
1 banana, peeled and sliced
1 cup milk
1/2 cup ice cubes
Method
* In a blender container combine all ingredients.
* Blend until smooth.

Chocolate Cherry Milkshake


Ingredients
4 scoops vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
3/4 cup cold milk
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
3 maraschino cherries, stems removed
Whipped topping & additional cherry
Method
* Place ice cream, milk, chocolate syrup and cherries in blender.
* Blend until smooth.
* Garnish with whipped topping and cherry.

Whoppers Malt Milkshake


Ingredients
2 - 3 scoops vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
1/3 cup cold milk
3 tablespoons chocolate malt syrup
Whipped cream topping
Method
* Place ice cream, milk and chocolate malt syrup in blender.
* Blend until smooth.
* Garnish with whipped topping and cherry.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Milkshake


Ingredients
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
1/4 cup milk
12 cubes ice
Method
* In a blender, combine peanut butter, chocolate syrup, milk and ice cubes.
* Blend until smooth.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake


Ingredients
1 tablespoon peanut butter
2 tablespoons jelly or jam (grape, raspberry or strawberry)
1/2 cup milk
1 cup vanilla ice cream
Method
* Combine peanut butter and jelly.
* Place in blender.
* Add milk and ice cream.
* Blend until smooth.

Chunky Milkshake


Ingredients
3 scoops vanilla ice cream
2 tablespoons chocolate chips
1/2 banana
1 tablespoon instant coffee
2 tablespoon chocolate syrup
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Method
* In a blender mix all the ingredients.
* Blend on medium for 1 minute.

Apple Pie Milkshake


Ingredients
14 oz. sweetened condensed milk chilled
1 cup applesauce, chilled
1/2 cup apple juice chilled
1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice
3 cups crushed ice
Apple wedges, optional
Method
* In a blender, combine sweetened condensed milk, applesauce, apple juice, and apple pie spice.
* With blender running, gradually add ice, blending until smooth.
* Serve immediately.
* Garnish with apple wedges.

Blueberry Milkshake


Ingredients
2 1/2 cups frozen blueberries
1 1/4 cups apple juice
1 cup vanilla frozen yogurt
1/4 cup skim milk
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Method
* Directions are real easy.
* Just throw everything in the blender and blend until smooth.

Creamy Pudding Milkshake


Ingredients
3/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon instant vanilla pudding
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
Method
* Combine all ingredients in blender and blend for 20 seconds or until smooth and frothy.

Chocolate Cheesecake Milkshake


Ingredients
1/2 oz. pkg. cream cheese
2 cups milk
6 scoops chocolate ice cream
Method
* Place cream cheese and 1 cup milk in a blender.
* Blend until smooth.
* Place the remaining milk and ice cream in blender, and continue to blend until smooth.

Banana Chocolate Milkshake


Ingredients
1 cup skim milk
2 tablespoons cocoa
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 medium ripe banana, sliced
8 large ice cubes
Method
* In blender container pour milk.
* Add cocoa. Cover, blend on low speed until well mixed.
* Add sugar, vanilla and banana. Cover, blend until smooth.
* Add ice cubes, one at a time, blending until thick.

Caramel Milkshake


Ingredients
1 cup cold milk
1/3 cup caramel sundae syrup
2 cups coffee ice cream
Method
* Place milk, caramel syrup and coffee ice cream in blender.
* Blend until smooth and thick.

Crunch Shamrock Milkshake


Ingredients
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons pistachio instant pudding mix (dry)
1 Pure Milk Chocolate Covered Chocolate Sandwich Cookie, finely chopped
Method
* Pour milk into tall glass.
* Add dry pudding mix.
* Stir 2 to 3 minutes or until puddding mix is completely dissolved.
* Stir in chopped cookie.
* Serve immediately.

Mint Milkshake


Ingredients
2 cups vanilla ice cream
1 ¼ cups 2% lowfat milk
¼ teaspoon mint extract
8 drops green food coloring
Method
* Combine all ingredients in blender and blend on high until smooth.
* If needed, stop blender and stir with a spoon to help blend in ice cream.
* Makes 2 servings.

Sublime Lime Milkshake


Ingredients
1/4 cup milk
1 scoop lime sherbert
1 scoop vanilla ice cream
Ice cubes (a handful)
Method
* In a blender, combine all ingredients.
* Blend until smooth.

Peach Milkshake


Ingredients
4 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 cup peaches, peeled, pitted, cut up into chunks
1 cup cold orange juice
2 strawberries (garnish)
Method
* In a blender, combine ice cream, peaches and orange juice.
* Blend until smooth.
* Garnish with strawberrie

Mango Milkshake


Ingredients
Mango pulp - 1cup
Milk - 1cup
sugar - 2 tbsp
crushed ice
Method
* Take all the ingredients in a blender jar and grind into smooth shake.
* And serve it cold.

Chocolate Milkshake


Ingredients
Vanilla ice cream
2 tbsp. chocolate syrup
1/2 c. milk
Method
* Put about 5 big spoonfuls ice cream in shaker or covered jar.
* Add chocolate syrup.
* Mix a bit with spoon.
* Add milk. Cover jar and shake hard.
* This makes a shake.

Kesar Pista Milkshake


Ingredients
Pista - 100 gms ( soak them in water for about 1 hour)
Almond - 50 (soak them in water for 2 hours)
Saffron - a pinch
Sugar - 50 gms
Milk - 3 cups
Method
* Take a pan and heat the milk.
* Boil the 3 cups milk in very low heat.
* Let it boil simmer until the milk becomes 1 1/2 cup.
* Grind the almonds,along with the pista,and the saffron until they form a smooth paste.
* Add the ground paste to the milk and then stir them well.
* Let the milk come to a boil for about twice.
* And remove them from the stove, and when the milk comes to room temprature.
* Place them in the refrigrator. Serve them cold.

Strawberry Milk Shake


Ingredients
1 cup milk
6 scoops strawberry ice cream
2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon strawberry ice cream topping
1 tablespoon whipped cream,(optional)
Fresh strawberries, sliced,(optional)
Method
* Combine first 5 ingredients in blender.
* Blend until smooth.
* Garnish with whipped topping and sliced strawberries.

Vanilla Milk Shake


Ingredients
3 scoops vanilla ice cream
1-1/2 cups milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons sugar
Method
* Take a blender jar.
* Add all the above ingredients.
* And blend untill smooth.

Sweet Lime Juice


Ingredients
Honey - 20ml
Sweetlime juice - 100ml
Oange juice - 60ml
Lime 1/2 tsp
A pinch of salt
Crushed ice
A slice of lime for garnishing
Method
* Put honey in a ribbed glass.
* Add the sweet lime juice.
* Add orange juice, lime juice and salt.
* Stir once.
* Top with crushed ice.
* Garnish with a slice of sweet lime.

Pineapple Juice


Ingredients
Fresh pineapple juice - 6 tbsps
Thick coconut milk - 3 tbsps
shreded tender coconut flesh - 3tbsps
vanilla icecream - 1/2 cup
crushed ice as required
chopped pineapple chunks - 3 tbsps
cherries 6-8
Method
* Blend together pineapple juice, coconut milk, tender coconut flesh, vanilla ice cream and ice till smooth.
* Pour into individual Collins glasses.
* Serve immediately decorated with pineapple chunks and cherries.

Mango Orange Juice


Ingredients
3 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
1tbsp orange peel, grated
2 cups mango pulp fresh
1 cup orange juice fresh
1/2 cup lemon juice fresh
Method
* Heat the water with sugar and orange peal over low heat until the sugar melts.
* Cool down to the room temperature.
* Add the mango pulp, orange juice and lemon juice and mix well.
* Serve cold.

Watermelon Juice


Ingredients
2 cups chopped seeded watermelon
1 cup crushed ice
2 tea spoons honey
1/4 tsp black pepper
fresh mint for garnishing
Method
* Combine ice, watermelon, honey and pepper in a blender.
* Blend until smooth.
* Garnish with mint.
* Serve chilled.
* Stir well before serving.

Orange Juice Cocktail


Ingredients
4 small oranges
1/2 cup skined and seeded grapes
1/2 cup crushed pineapple
pinch of salt
lemon juice little
sugar to taste
crushed ice
Method
* Peal the oranges by removing the skin and seeds.
* Remove the pulp and juice and place in a bowl with pineapple,grapes,lemon, salt and sugar to taste.
* Put it in the freezer until liquid becomes mushy stirring occasionaly.
* Serve in the glasses sirrounded with crushed ice.

Chilled Grape Juice


Ingredients
1/2 kg grapes
1 cup water
1/2 kg sugar
Method
* Put the grapes and sugar in a large vessel.
* Heat until pulp and seeds seperate then strain through a strainer.
* Add sugar to the above strained juice and boil till the boiling point.
* Store in a dry bottle.
* When served, it should be diluted one-half with water.
